Odette Morgan NPQICL
Children’s Centre Group Manager
As Manager of the Children's Centres Group at Windhill21 since 2007, Odette has been involved in the transformation of the Children’s Centres in Bishop's Stortford and Sawbridgeworth from one small hub based in Windhill school, to a group of four centres employing 15 staff across the whole district.
Previous roles have focused on both Early Years and Early Help before moving into the Early Years Strategy Team at Essex County Council to focus on the roll out and development of Sure Start local Programmes, the Neighbourhood Nursery Initiative and eventually, the Children's Centre programme which culminated in the opening of 3,500 Children’s Centres across England by the end of 2010.
Odette currently serves as an Associate Governor at Windhill21 and is a key link between the school and the Children’s Centres, working closely with school staff and other governors to ensure that the quality of services delivered is always high and meets the needs of the community.
Business Manager, Windhill21
The role of the School Business Manager focuses on the non-teaching elements
of running the school and involves ensuring that the school’s resources are managed effectively with a remit that covers a number of broad and varied areas including
finance, administration, HR, premises management and ICT.
Deborah works closely with other members of the school leadership team to ensure
the most effective use of the school’s resources. Deborah currently serves as an
associate governor on both Windhill’s Governing Body and the Children’s Centre Management Committee.
As Assistant Manager, Lee co-ordinates community services throughout Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and surrounding villages, working closely with all Early Years settings, schools, Childminders and line manages the Early Years Team who deliver a variety of sessions for parents and children.
Lee has worked within Education for 15 years and has Early Years Professional Status and a BA Honours degree in Early Years.
Senior Outreach Worker
As Senior Outreach Worker, part of Barbara’s role involves supporting families on a one to one basis and through parenting groups. Barbara has a degree in Early Years Education and has worked with children and families since 2000.
Lead Early Years Practitioner
Kim has worked in the Early Year’s Foundation Stage within schools for over 20 years including roles within Special Educational Needs, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, and teaching in Nursery and Reception classes.
The role of Lead Early Year’s Practitioner involves the delivery of sessions and courses for 0-4 year olds and their families. Kim is the Children’s Centre’s Baby Friendly Link Worker and supports families in all areas of their baby’s development to ensure they have the best start in life.
